Gator Tennis Players Teach Tennis To Special Olympic Athletes!

The Gator Tennis Team took time out of their day on Saturday, Dec. 5th to do their annual free tennis clinic for the Special Olympic athletes in Crawford County.

Sam Stephenson '15 Graduates from US Marine Corps Officer Candidate School

 

Sam Stephenson, a '15 graduate from the men's tennis team, just successfully graduated from his 10 weeks of training at the United States Marine Corps Officer Candidate School in Quantico, VA. He is now a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Marines. He will head back down to VA in January for another 6 months of training before he is officially assigned a job with the Marines. Sam was not only a captain on the men's tennis team, but he was also the editor of The Campus--Allegheny's student newspaper. Professor Cheryl Hatch who serves as the faculty adviser for The Campus, was nice enough to drive down to Quantico for Sam's graduation ceremony. She is seen pictured above with Sam.
