KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Allegheny senior Patrick Cole and sophomore Tyler Triolo will enter this weekend's United States Tennis Association (USTA) - Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Central Region Championships as the No. 2 overall doubles seed in the main draw, announced by the ITA on Thursday.

The pair will enter the weekend with a 9-2 overall record, including three wins at last week's Oberlin Invitational. The pairing also picked up four wins from Sept. 14-15 to emerge as the champions of the "A" Draw bracket at the 2013 Kenyon Invitational. The squad's only losses this season have come at the hands of perennial national power Carnegie Mellon on Sept. 7 and Division II Mercyhurst on Sept. 18.

Cole and Triolo began their three-day tournament schedule with a victory on Friday morning over a squad from College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) member Elmhurst. The two will continue their bracket play with a 9:30 a.m. match on Friday.
