Sun Mo, Sloane, and Mikaela win All-NCAC Honors!
Koo and Prince led the Gators in doubles victories, finishing the season 18-6, including a 14-6 mark at top-flight doubles. Ending the season winning seven of their last 10 doubles matches, Koo earned her first All-NCAC doubles honor, as Prince scores her second doubles accolade, earning All-NCAC Second Team plaudits during the 2012-13 season. Koo and Prince helped the Gators to a 5-0 sweep of Ohio Wesleyan with an 8-5 win at top-flight doubles.
Playing the season at top-flight singles, Koo finished the singles season with a 14-9 record, picking up a 10-7 record at top-flight alongside a 4-2 mark in tournament play. Koo picked up her second consecutive All-NCAC Second Team selection after earning the honor during the 2013-14 season. Koo was named Allegheny Female Athlete of the Week after a 5-0 mark during the Gators' spring break schedule, later helping the Gators finish fifth in the NCAC by winning three of her final four singles matches of the season.
Pope earned the first All-NCAC honor of her career, closing out the season by winning her last three matches and 8-2 over her final 10 matches. Pope scored a 6-4, 6-4 win at second-flight to help the Gators rally past Kenyon, 5-4, in Allegheny's first win over the Ladies since the 1984-85 season before ended season with wins over Kenyon and Ohio Wesleyan in the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Tournament.
Thomas and Tyler win All-NCAC Honors!
As a team, Triolo and Manning finished the season with a 14-3 record, ending the season 4-1 over their last five matches. In Allegheny's season finale against Wabash, the top-tier pairing won, 8-5, against the top-flight Wabash pairing of Daniel Delgado and William Reifeis, who entered the tournament ranked third in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division III Central Region Poll.
The win came just weeks after the duo's 8-5 win over Kenyon's Rosensteel and Geier on April 12th, who entered the contest ranked seventh in the region. During the season, Triolo and Manning only fell to a pair of doubles teams; the then-No. 10 nationally ranked top-flight pairing from Case on February 28th and two matches to the No. 10 regionally ranked first-flight doubles team from Denison.
Triolo, who picked up his third All-NCAC singles selection and first second team honor on Wednesday, went 7-10 at top-flight singles during the season, finishing the year 8-12 overall. Triolo went 6-1 in the month of March, and won a season-high five consecutive matches from March 20th to April 7th.
Manning, who was an All-NCAC Honorable Mention pick last season, erupted for a team-leading 16-7 record during his junior campaign, including a 10-6 record at second-flight alongside a 3-1 mark at No. 1 singles. Manning closed out the season with a win over regionally-ranked No. 32 Delgado from Wabash, 6-4, 6-2, to help Allegheny to a 5-3 win at the NCAC Tournament.
Allegheny ended the season with a 12-9 record, as head coach Jared Luteran picked up his 300th career win as the Gator men's team, combined with a women's victory, upended the Wooster Fighting Scots, 6-3, on April 17th.
