As a team, Triolo and Manning finished the season with a 14-3 record, ending the season 4-1 over their last five matches. In Allegheny's season finale against Wabash, the top-tier pairing won, 8-5, against the top-flight Wabash pairing of Daniel Delgado and William Reifeis, who entered the tournament ranked third in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division III Central Region Poll.
The win came just weeks after the duo's 8-5 win over Kenyon's Rosensteel and Geier on April 12th, who entered the contest ranked seventh in the region. During the season, Triolo and Manning only fell to a pair of doubles teams; the then-No. 10 nationally ranked top-flight pairing from Case on February 28th and two matches to the No. 10 regionally ranked first-flight doubles team from Denison.
Triolo, who picked up his third All-NCAC singles selection and first second team honor on Wednesday, went 7-10 at top-flight singles during the season, finishing the year 8-12 overall. Triolo went 6-1 in the month of March, and won a season-high five consecutive matches from March 20th to April 7th.
Manning, who was an All-NCAC Honorable Mention pick last season, erupted for a team-leading 16-7 record during his junior campaign, including a 10-6 record at second-flight alongside a 3-1 mark at No. 1 singles. Manning closed out the season with a win over regionally-ranked No. 32 Delgado from Wabash, 6-4, 6-2, to help Allegheny to a 5-3 win at the NCAC Tournament.
Allegheny ended the season with a 12-9 record, as head coach Jared Luteran picked up his 300th career win as the Gator men's team, combined with a women's victory, upended the Wooster Fighting Scots, 6-3, on April 17th.
