COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Junior Carolyn Shetter earned North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Player of the Week honors on Monday after sweeping Allegheny's top-flight singles matches during spring training.
Shetter led off her spring training with a 7-6 (5-3), 6-0 win over the top singles player from Division II Millersville. After straight set wins against Centre and Wisconsin-Eau Claire, Shetter capped her spring training with a comeback win over Macalester, 1-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-3).
Paired with freshman Sloane Prince, the junior finished spring training with a 3-1 record in pairs matches.
The Gators will return to the Robertson Tennis Complex to take on Clarion on Apr. 4.
