Mar 15, 2009 HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. - The Allegheny women's tennis team fell to Macalester, 6-3, in its first day of Spring Break action.
Janna Dickerson (pictured), Alyssa Tom and Deb Landau claimed points for the Gators at fourth, fifth and sixth singles, respectively.
Dickerson defeated Abby Citrin, 6-1, 6-1, while Tom was victorious over Becky Schneider, 4-6, 6-2, 10-5. At sixths, Landau won over Kelli Crescenti, 6-1, 6-3.
Allegheny will be in action again on Monday when it takes on Nebraska Wesleyan at 8 a.m.
